Hello. Modernly, you can listen to whatever you want, by going to i-tunes (after downloading the program of the same name) and "subscribing" to the podcasts in which you have an interest. Thereafter, you get notified when a new episode is downloaded.
I'm soon going to have a program available there, but before that you can listen to a variety of programming and the price is right. It's all free. You can do something similar at libsyn.com, but i-tunes is more extensive. There are thousands of available programs - talk, music, anything.
Speaking of programs, here's a lineup of what's coming up on our show (and you can follow me on Twitter; my handle is jeffbushman1). Our archived programs can be heard at http://GoingBeyondRadio.com/JeffBushman and the live shows can be heard on Wednesdays, starting at 9:00 PM Eastern time at the same location, without the slash and my name. On November 6 we'll be conversing with JT Sather, who wrote a book on his experiences of becoming homeless and prior to that, two different wives leaving him. That was interesting, and we'll talk a bit about that, but he also has a new work coming out about how he lived out a revenge fantasy and was almost charged with the federal crime of kidnapping. It's a very funny read and available for 99 cents. We'll talk about that and his writing career.
On November 13, in observance of the coming anniversary of the assassination of JFK, we'll be talking to author Larry Hancock. Larry's an amazing guy and has now written several books. His seminal work on the Kennedy Killing is "Someone Would Have Talked." He and I will talk for the full hour that night.
November 20, we're dark, and we'll likely not do a program on November 27, either, because the next day is Thanksgiving. Then, on the first Wednesday in December we'll have Stephen Lyttleton, who's an old friend of mine and someone who disagrees with most of my political views. We've promised not to yell at each other and he's an interesting guy with a terrific sense of humor.
With the exception of the show with Larry on 11/13, all of the shows will also feature celebrity birthdays and This Week In History, along with the headlines and a discussion of the economic impact of news items. And, of course, if you wish to call in, you can.
If you have a guest to suggest and know how to contact them, please feel free to drop a note. The address is tjbRadio@gmail.com.
Also, to do more plugs. You can read another of our blogs at http://BushmanBooks.blogspot.com
You can also buy any and all of what you'd otherwise buy at Amazon, by going through that page. It won't cost you more, and it'll throw a few coins at us. There's also a link to the books I've written.
Thanks for reading and we'll see you on the radio.
